Thanks again gents! Without the wheels to fall back on, it forces me to fully embrace the recurve. Plus now I am not splitting up my practice time between compound and trad... its ALL trad. I am confident on big game out to 20 yds already, so I am sure I will be good to go in September... man I cannot WAIT!!!

On another site, a post was started on misses that haunt them. Many compound shooters lamenting failed equipment, which is too bad, but one of the most common comments. Now it's just you, the stick and the animal. Good Luck and don't look back. Aim small, miss small.

Mr. Penguin, I know how you feel. Just recently sold a like new wheelie and now I will be focusing on the trad equipment. A little nervous but with more practice I am sure it will ease up. I took 6 deer with the Mathews last season, I will be thrilled to take one this year with the Black Widow or Shrew I picked up on this site. Best of luck to you friend.
