A good day shooting with old friends and new.
« on: May 23, 2010, 06:42:00 PM »
Zane (texasrecurve) and his roommate Bill came up to visit today and there just happened to be a 3D shoot a few minutes from my house. Jerry Barker, his daughter & grandsons, Rich (vtmtnman), Chris (grnmtntradnut) and myself went to have some fun. They can post their comments. But here are the pics I took.

Had a blast Dave, thanks again.  Glad to see you got the picture of me wading across the river to get my arrow.  Of course it was beause it blew through the target, not sailed over it:)

looks like a great time.  Would love to drive over for the shoot next weekend.  I am sure I could convince my wife as she loves Bennington Pottery, but we have guest scheduled.  have a good time.

Thanks for sharin' Dave!

The realism of the "antlered" marmot was effective - looks like he was considering charging - definitely an exciting target!!!

Looks like a fun time for all - even the water sports!

Sounds like you guys had some fun!
Man I have to remember my dang camera!
I went to a 40 target 3D shoot today myself with some old friends. I can't think of a better way to spend a few hours on a Sunday morning.

Dave,

I would like to come up.  I'll see if I can wrangle up any shooters from here. Perhaps my wife will want to go? I need to find her some arrows yet though.
