Man, you Aussies always seem to pull some serious weight!  Is that beautiful BW 65@28?  Must be like hunting here in New Mexico - no really close shots and lots of big animals!
Serious, she's a beaut, Ben.  I'll have to post some pics tonight of a kind of unique BW I was lucky enough to pick up awhile back - A hint: the BW folks named her the "Diamondback".

Good one Ben. Sure you will love it when the time comes to start shooting.
What string do you plan on running?

Thanks, fellows. Tom, it'll just be a big, slow 18 strand TS+ string.

Reddoge:

That bow at the bottom of the rack is a left-handed Damon Howatt, 55# @ 28" from Geoff Arnold's memory. It is from about 1962. It was mostly built by Howatt, but was shipped along with a whole bunch of unfinished recurves to Sydney, Australia, as a customs fees dodge. The Aussie boys finished these bows by cutting the sight window and shaping the grip and sealing it all. This one was finished by Geoff's late brother, and is a twin to the 81# bow that Geoff finished and killed the first water buffalo to be taken in Australia with the bow and arrow. That heavy bow was lost in Cyclone Tracey.

I finished reports today, and shot the new bow and mowed the jungle out the front. The bow is superb to shoot. It really seems easy and quick, and is just so pleasant. I love it.

Here are some more photos...
