It's Dacite. Too big for an arrow, more like an Atalatl point. I liked the shape so much I stopped while I was ahead.

Thanks guys. It is super sharp too. I'd love to put it through a deer or hog but I fear it may be too heavy, at 312.5 grains.

I used a blank or slab as I call them. I waste too much rock using a ... rock.

i wonder if you could just really over spine an arrow to get good flight out of that beast. Or if you could somehow split a carbon or put a wooden insert inside of a carbon to attach the point too in order to use it.
