It's a GREAT start Jim!

I'll tell you what!! It's a chore to get points in our comfort range. I knapped a beautiful Agate point that ended up 127gr......YES! LOL!

if you can't put it to use i'll have it. i've got some surewoods that shoot 300gr stone points just nicely.

great work by the way. it's good to see some primitive work pop it's head in here sometimes.

not bad to work that dacite hey.

Awesome work! Only my opinion, but thats nice enough to buy a dozen wood shafts that'll take the weight! I'm not a wood arrow shooter, but I WOOD be if I made that!

Many thanks guys! Yes Dacite is nice to work. It's not as brittle or as dangerous as obsidian but makes a really nice looking head.
