easton shaft size

I am shooting a 65# selfbow with shoot around grip and wanted to know what size aluminum shaft with about 260 grains up front.any thoughts would be helpful.

You need to let us know some more info here.
What is your draw length ?
Do you have any old arrows that you can try ?
My friend made a couple of self bows, and a one of these ended up a bit on the high side of his target draw weight.
He started out with a 2117 Gamegetter and played with the arrow lenght vs point weight and got the 2217's to work real good.
You might try the same approach.  Round up a few 2217's and some 100 - 125 - 145 field points.
The alumimum shafts are easy to cut with a tubing cutter, and hot melt works great for the inserts.
You can spend hours playing around (I know, I've done it over and over...) but it's archery - so it's fun right ?
Another shaft you might try is a 2020.  Like my friend always said - "if you don't have a bow that shoots 2020's - you should go out and get one"

Just be carefull with the easton size charts,I had bought arrows acording to it and they were way to light.Check with a sponsor.
