HABU VyperKahn

Looking into purchasing a bow from Chris Cox at HABU bows. Does anyone have pictures of an ebony HABU bow? Also, any advice if one should opt for the longbow limbs or the Hybrid Curve limb?
Thanks!!

Here are a few of mine...striped ebony with ebony veneers on the limbs. i'm a longbow guy so i prefer the longbow limbs. Chris says the hycurve limbs will add a little more speed, but the longbow limbs are plenty fast.

Beautiful bow! Any idea on waiting time at the moment, and which is faster the high-curve or hybrid limbs?

The hycurve is the hybrid. The hycurve according to Chris will be about 3 to 5fps faster than the longbow. My wait time was a little over 2 years. i just got it a couple of months ago. Chris is trying to cut down on the wait time and is planning on offering a cheaper version sometime in the future with a much shorter wait time. When will that happen? Only Chris can answer that. He is a super guy to talk to and will talk for as long (or as little) as you want to.

Don't know if Chris will make a bow out of Ebony today. You will need to speak to him
The hycurve has been reported as being fairly loud and is favored by range shooters who don't mind the sound.
Just a note: Chris has a new source for Coocobola which is to be outstanding.

Randy, answered your PM.
Friend, I'll ask Chris about the Cocobola. I was leaning towards the ebony. Chris said he had some, not sure abut the quality though, but knowing his standards, I'm sure it will be nice

I just got my new Vyperkahn from Chris last month -- I have the longbow limbs and they are really fast and quiet. I have Cocobola and the wood is really nice.

The deed is DONE. The Bow is ordered. Now the wait starts. Chris said about 2-3 months before I have it in my hands.
