Has anyone ever received a bow from Steve at American Longbow?  The bows shown on his site look nice.

I haven't but I know more then 15 years ago Bob Wesley used a bow Steve made to take a huge hog name "Ole Satan" and he said it was an excellent bow.  If he only had half the skill his father had I would guess they are great bows.

I ordered a Cougar from him 9 months ago and payed for bow in full up front. About 5 months ago he called and said he had to spray bow and would ship it in about a week. I never received the bow. I sent several e mails to him with no response. I tried to call and his phone has been disconnected. I sent two PM's to his son who is on this site guess what no response. I would say to anyone interested in a Steve Schulz bow forget about it.

Try Dave Miller or Nate Steen ... great product and both stand up fella's. Both were students of John.

I will second Dave Miller. I have two of his bows and am going to order another one. They are as close to a John Schulz as you can get. The guy is as honest as the day is long he keeps in touch with you and is just a great guy.

That is why if I order another Hill it would be from Craig, he's up front and honest.

I have had lots of dealings with Craig. He is extreemly helpful.  I buy bow building stuff from him all the time and send him tons of emails asking him how he builds bows and he always helps and gives me formula's.

Sorry for speaking about Steve since I haven't done business with him.
