Very cool. I was just in Kauai in April. No hunting though as I was in relaxation mode. Great story. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

I've been putting off reading this one until I could take the time to savor and enjoy it all.  What a great trip!  Don't know if I will ever make it happen, but sure would love to do that someday.  It has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the entire world!
