All gave some...

Some gave "All"

This weekend we salute all of our Vets for protecting our great country and giving us the freedom to practise our Traditional Archery and talk about it at will.

Raise your hand and be counted, all of you who have served or have had family that has served, or is serving.

I was a fortunate one to serve and not see combat, and am in awe of those who have. I stand in reverent humility of those who have paid the ultimate price.

My brother is ready to ship out to Afganistan this fall. He already did a stint in Iraq and fortunatly came home safe. He's with an Infantry unit in the National Guard.

I served as an Infantryman with the 10th Mountain Division in the early 90's.

God bless the USA and all the troops.

I want to thank the Soldiers and Marines that I served recently on my last deployment.  It was an honor to provide Medevac out of Kandahar for you.  While you were sacrificing your life and limbs, dudes were busy boycotting AZ, worried who was the next contender on Dancing with the Stars was going to be, or how much texting could get done while driving down the highway.  Gary Coleman got more attention than you guys...  Thanks Tradgang for remembering these guys not just now, but every day and lets not forget the wives and children left behind as well...

My uncle, Merle M. Keith, out of Campbelleton, New Brunswick. Severely wounded on D-Day, WW2, Lying on that beach with a "sucking chest" wound. I used to be mesmerized by those two scars in the middle of his chest. How do you survive that? He was one of the finest men I ever knew, gone now, but NOT FORGOTTEN.

So many have sacrificed for the freedoms that we often take for granted everyday.  This forum being one.  May we all take time this weekend to reflect and appreciate all we have and all we could lose.
