That is a sweet looking bow! Great job.
I'd name it "Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker!"

Nice job Dave! I am trying to decide if you are shooting it to the left in both of your pictures because its a selfbow or if its democrat...lol
I think you should name it "Jackie-G" after Jackie Gleason, do you remember"How sweet it is!"?
Cool looking bow for sure! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hey I might enlist you in giving me a hand taking the weight down on two of mine. The bamboo backed hickory I had up at your place and a static tipped recurve that I believe is hickory with an unknown to me backing.
I would also like to invite you folks down for a n afternoon of bow building. One of the Columbia boys is holding it at his place and we'll have fun watching yellow dust fly and listening to stories/lies. Later in the day we'll be firing up the grill for at least burgers and brats.
If you think you might be interested shoot me an e-mail and I'll get you all of the info including directions.
God bless,Mudd
PS: You really should give some serious consideration to "Jackie-G"...lol

I think the wife likes this one so I might have to name it yellow fever.
as far as the curve, I used dry heat from a heat gun and clamped it to a caul that I made from 2x8s.
