Hey Guys, first of all happy memorial day to all especilly you vets out there  :notworthy:  I'm trying to add some weight to my arrows by inserting weedeater string and my problem is that when I shoot the nock pops out from the impact. I'm shooting Gold Tips. Any suggestions?? Thanks  :banghead:

Make sure that you didn't damage the nock or the back of the shaft.  If the back of the shaft gets a small crack they will pop out.

Get nock inserts and use glue-on nocks. You'll never lose another nock again unless you shoot it with another arrow

Thats the only bad thing about weight tubes or weedeater line,on a hard hit it will pop your nock out. When I use weight tubes on some GT's I switched nocks to some of the old GT lock nocks, and they would hold in pretty good.

If you use weight tubes you can pinch them in several spots with a needle nose pliers this will help keep it in place.
