I stopped in at Layton Perry's place on the way home from my trip to Kitchener. To say this guy is humble and to say he is a straight talker are all understatements.

He is as REAL as it gets and just a great guy with a great family. He works hard on his ranch..rides horses..brands..you name it...a real mans man...that's why I like him so much. I am sure he would give you the shirt off his back no matter what his peril would be.

Anyway he took this nice cinnamon bear just before I arrived there. He called it the earing bear...a real pain in the butt and had been moved several times....

Here's his son Cash and Ed with the bear...thhye were out too but Layton was the guy to getter done on this night

a pic of the tag

So I just thought I would post this...he is real shy about such things, but loves to see other successes.  :clapper:

Really nice bear! Too bad Layton has such narrow shoulders. JJ.....are those his, or shoulder pads under his jacket? Thanks for posting.

Am I the only one who thinks the first picture looks like Bruce Willis?

Oh, and nice bear, great trophy

Really nice bear.  Just seeing that gets me excited.  I'm going on my first bear hunt in 12 weeks up in Ontario.  Been waiting two years.
