Another great thread and pics Felix, congratulations on a fine Bruin.
Look forward to reading your next wild boar hunt.
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

Congrats.  Really enjoyed the adventure, story etc. Great for those of us who can not do such things.  Just awesome. . .

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Well done Felix!!!  I am really glad everything came together for you. Norm builds his Blacktails not far from where I live. Have you ever hunted in Oregon?

Congrats on the nice bears!

I think it is so neat that people can come hunt from all over the planet. I have a Swedish buddy that I hunt with; and once I ran into a bowhunter that just shook his head to everything I said.

I figured out he was here from France; and we had a good time talking trad bows and what we could- as he was really limited in his English; and I can only say 'parlay vou- fried eggs; wee wee manure' which falls really short of speaking french.

But our glee at checking each others bows and set ups surpassed the need for language.

I am recouperating from knee surgery and ready to go home and start bear hunting- so thanks for the motivation !
  Again - congrats !!
