This is a heck of an offer for all you fellas that are always saying that you want to go elk hunting someday.  Well, this could be your year!

Nice offer Papa Bear!

Had a great time with Larry, Carl, T.W., and Paul last year!!!

Easy hiking......heard elk every time out.....had some good sightings and a small herd crashed through our camp-site while we were sitting there after coming BACK from a hunt.

Thanks again, Larry!

PAPA BEAR can you give me all the specifics?  Dates, hunting license requirements & cost, gear needed and so on.. Sounds like an awesome trip and I'm way over due on some elk hunting.

out of state license and tags have gone up this year...license is 140.50...elk tag is 500.50...deer tag is 375.50 if you want to hunt mulies also.very easy hunting for elk country.no big mountains at all just gentle slopes all around us.we will meet in hines oregon at the only truckstop in town hard to miss.we will meet on friday sept 17th at a specified time.gear is whatever you fell you need but mostly just your hunting gear/camo/sleeping bag etc, etc.carl will be there with his outfitter tent and trust me he has a ton of camping gear.as well as do i.we will go food shopping in burns before we head up the mountain for the week.we can come down to do whatever we need to do.showers etc.

You guys have a good time. Get one of those monster chicken fried steaks. That truck stop has the best chicken fried steak in the world. LOL,. Watch out for rattlers and good luck on the elk. I'll be up by Diamond Lake and Crater Lake Park about that time in the High country. God Bless you all and have a great hunt and time. Steve
