Made a trip to Keokuk...Tall Tines!
« on: June 02, 2010, 11:00:00 PM »
Went and saw Brian tonight, picked up my
62" 55#@28" bow. Cocobolo riser with yew for the thin strips with black stripes. It has black glass limbs with cocobolo in the tips. Quality of the bow looks great to me. If Brian was any easier to work with, he would be giving them away LOL. Just got home a little while ago, cannot wait to shoot.

Pete p,
Working with Brian, we both thought it had a classic look...and I am getting older. I can always add skins later or something if I want. Gives me a open canvas.
Thanks, Dan

Here are some pictures for John Dill of Anneewakee Archery. Bought a Kanati Angle quiver from him and told him I would post pictures of the quiver installed. It looks kind of brighter red in the pictures, but it really matches well.

 Here you go John:

THAT is very classy looking!

My 1-piece is going to have some black in it for sure.

That Kanati Angle is certainly the quiver of choice on all my TallTines--LOVE that quiver.  There were a bunch of them that walked out of Kalamazoo...John needs to make a batch up with the TallTines logo on them

Brian is turning out some bows lately.

Maybe mine won't be far behind now.

Dan,

Great looking bow! How does it shoot? Maybe tomorrow on mine. I sure hope so anyway.

Dan, Great looking bow.
I'm getting a set of the longer 62" limbs for mine in the black glass. I'm not a big fan but I have some great skins to put on them and thought maybe I wouldn't need to worry so much about bangin' em around when I'm hunting.

Thanks for the complements everyone!!

Louis it shoots well, I shot some pretty tight 20 yard groups last night. And I am still working out what arrows I want to shoot.
