Did you notice they always seem to grab the arrows by the fletching?  Eichler has an old lab that was following me as I was killing some time on his 3D course after the long drive in. I thought he was just friendly until I launched one into the weeds.  He brought it right back, by the feathers.  It was repeated a couple of times unfortunately.

Arnold,

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I am glad to hear about your new pup.

Hey, aren't those my arrows she is slobbering on? They look just like the ones you made for me!

Best wood arrows I have ever shot! Must be Puppy Slobber!

Nice looking pup!  Labs are wonderful dogs and a new pup is one of the best ways to refocus after losing an old friend.  I'd like another lab as well but my wife says one 75lb dog in the house is enough!

We recently picked up a new Beagle puppy for the girls, and after spending a few weeks with him...I'm clearly reminded of how good a dog my Lab was when he was a puppy - the Beagle definitely has a mind of it's own for sure.  Enjoy your new puppy!  Greg

Very good look'n pup ... I had a golden retriever that was a fantastic arrow finder. It's always hard to lose a faithful friend but puppys are good medicine. Enjoy the new journey !

The Boss (wife) got me my yellow lab after the surgeon said that "walking would be good for him" after my second back surgery. Zeke has been with me thru 10 more back related surgeries (6 1/2 years). Good thing he is as big a couch potato (since he;s been with us- at 8 wks) as I am. He is a perfect dog for me. Luvs to play throw and watch, his version of fetch, why run when you can walk etc.I wouldn't trade him for anything.

I owned many different dogs over the years. I have had many with great temperments. I just recently got a chocolate lab. These labs are the most loving dogs I have ever owned. I never had a dog as happy as this and she wants to be with me non-stop. I love it. Good luck with that beautiful pup. Yours can retrieve arrows but mine can read!
