I was gonna say wallkill.  I used to get them between Gardiner and New Paltz. I enjoyed wading in the water on a hot day and having them swim to me.

Nice shooting Curt. I'm headed out today on the Mohawk. It's still new to me so it may be more exploration than anything. Just waiting for Bowspirit to arrive and we'll be off.

I did a little shore scouting last night and saw about 40 however most were about 12-15 inches.  The way I look at it, it will take more to fill my bin    :bigsmyl:

I've always heard once you get wet by the wallkill, you will be back  someday.

We'll see how true that is

Well Don, maybe not every rock but there is a heck of a lot of smallies in there.  Some days you can't keep em off your line.  They are skinny due to being river fish but I caught my longest one ever in a Wallkill estuary.  26 inches.  It was longer than my heaviest I accidently caught while muskie fishing which was 24 inches and fat.

I you cant seem to catch the smallies there are walleyes in there too.
Relax,

You'll live longer!
