New Striker Takedown
« on: June 06, 2010, 05:15:00 PM »
Hey, thought I would post about my new bow because I am so pleased with it. I got my bow last week and could not be happier with it. It is a Striker Stinger TDL, 46# at 27", and is 58" long. Riser is Bocote and so are limbs with Bamboo cores. I haven't got to shoot as much as I would like, but absolutely love this bow. Rick is one of the best people I have ever dealt with, in any business. He is very helpful and just a great person. He shared some pointers on shooting with my girlfriend and let her shoot one of his bows...and now, I have another bow on order for her.  I am very excited for her and to have another shooting partner to go along with my little girl. We should all have a blast this summer. Thanks for reading.

The worst bow I ever had was wonderful.

I've been wanting one of Rick's bows since I shot his Miss Hope several years ago. For one reason or another, I just never get a chance to do the deal.

However, Rick and his wife made the trip to Baltimore this year and he got a Striker Stinger in the hands of my Mrs. I always knew Rick was a great guy, but he proved it with the patience he had with Lisa, being a new archer. Needless to say, she told me she WILL own one, and she always gets what she wants if I have anything to do with it.

Great looking bow there Worm. Probably shoots twice as good as it looks.

Looks good! Mine should be done at the end of august. I can't wait. I agree with ya about Rick. He's like talking to an old friend from the first "hello" of a phone call. Congrats on your new bow.

Sweet! Congrats on a great bow.

You are 100% right about Rick. I ordered my first custom bow from him and will be a customer for life. Makes a great bow and has great customer service.

I ordered a TD recurve shortly after I got my Slapstik and will have it around September. Can't hardly wait.
