Those are neat looking critters (the wildebeest that is).  Always looks like someone put the horns on backwards to me.

If that is a forced air duct behind him I'd keep an eye on things.  If it's AC only you'll have a lot of dust build up on your mount, if there is forced air heating through that duct I'd move the mount - the hot air isn't good for it.

I just hung it there for the pics, though thanks for the warning. I didn't know that!

That is an amazing mount, do you have the story on here somewhere?

Is that hunt on the Tradgang dvd?

Did you get to eat any of the meat?

Thanks! I put the story on The Dark Continent forum (I belive the title is 'Back from Namibia')

No video for me. I get mirror shy, nevermind cameras!

I never did get eat it. All the meat gets split between the trackers/skinners & the outfitter's shop.

Nice looking mount!

I'd like one of those some day...that at believe it or not a Red Hartebeest would be on my short list if I ever get to jump the pond to hunt.

Beautiful animal Rob , I think they are one of the neatest animals , beautiful manes and long tails and can run like the wind . And Josh I know what you mean about the Hartebeest , they look kinda like a Dr. Suess animal but I like them anyway . Fred

Nice! That animal just looks like it's begging for horseradish, sauteed mushrooms, and a nice red.
