I hear ya Mike. That was the way it was with me and the Carbon Elite you had....just the timing wasn't right.   :knothead:  LOL! Sounds like she is serving TW well.

Lanier,

None whatsoever. I haven't shot much of anything else since I got my first Centaur....nothing compares or shoots as good for me as the Centaurs...and I've been through a ton of different bows looking for the ONE!

WOW, very nice. I have shot a early Centaur but may have to revisit a new one. Thanks for sharing the pictures and Congrats on the new  bow. Flint

Congrats on great looking bow. I've got a new to me Chimera coming, should be here Monday.

I have shot the glass, Double Carbon, Carbon Elite and the new Carbon Chimera. I love them all! If I had to pick one, though, the Carbon Chimera has the zip of the Carbon Elite, maybe a tad more, and is quieter about it. Smooth little bow that feels like a friend.

I agree Killdeer. I don't know how quick it is, but it flings them down range very fast. Jim says these new carbon core Chimeras and the Carbon Elites are within 2 ft/second of each other. I've never shot a Carbon Elite, but have a glass model and they ain't no slouch either!,,,Awesome bows!

Got all three, I will agree with Killie. The new design Chimera has as much giddy uo as the Elite with less noise.

I'm surprised you don't have a red "Hello Phone" next to your computer.

Anybody now what he changed up exactly?

What is this new carbon/foam core? I've never heard of it.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think Jim uses the foam core. I think his Carbon Chimera has 3 laminates of carbon instead of the 1 or 2 he used to use. Maybe someone else can come on here and say for sure.
Until next time...good shooting,
Lee

I sure would like to shoot one of those bad boys.  That is a nice bow.

I see off his website, he's just offering the glass or the carbon chimera...guess the carbon elite was replaced?
