Ben it doesn't count until college when they are old enough for you to legally hit them back!

I recently took a job as a vocational instructor in a medium security prison. Does that count?

Deaddoc444, Thats what I do for N.J. Swiper I have to go to the M.E. office in Newark(East orange Ave) every Wednesday, I feel for what you have to deal with in that place.

It's about how no matter what field you you are in Traditional archery brings us together. And it's good to know people in that field who you can shoot with at a police convention.JMHO

Vaughn I guess the person that started it was just trying to see if there other people in his profession on this site intrested in Traditional archery. Maybe we can ask Terry if we could have a TGBB thread like TGMM. We can call it Tradgang Brothers in Blue (TGBB). Then it could remain private and not offend you. It seems like there are many on this site.

The word "enforcement" has always given me that oogey feeling. I truly think that word all by itself has destroyed not only the public's view of cops in general, but the overall mentality of cops in general--particularly the young ones. Just sayin.

So, how many here are crane operators? How about framers? Any lawyers? Dentists?

There are also lots of other professions here. If someone had started a thread with any of the professions I listed above, it would have been deleted immediately and a reprimand issued to the evil person who started it. Whats the difference really?

Realizing I responded to the thread, deadsmple made me realize the mistake. Many times I have seen threads moved or deleted because they weren't directly related to traditional bowhunting.

Maybe its just the relationship between certain professions and traditional archery. Doubt seriously that there would be 8 pages of responses from dentists. Also shows the character of the people that are attracted to the sport. Just my opiion.

I guess I would wonder why somebody would care what the thread has to do with trad archery. Its a thread that clearly has some interest to the members.  :archer2:

I started this thread out of curiosity, and to build some relations ships with people who deal with the same things I do.  I apologize to dead simple, feel free to delete this thread if its not allowed.

A connection I made when I read the title and saw the responses.
As I Deputy Sheriff I went to work knowing I might have to use deadly force.
The knowledge and ability to do so has a corelation to hunting. The tools are different but the mind set is similar. That might be why there are so many of us here.

Greenhed, no apologies necessary. I was just pointing out the fact that this is a trad archery forum and a persons chosen profession has no real bearing.  The common thread here is the fact that we all enjoy traditional archery in one way or another, all our other differences are irrelevant in my opinion.
