30 years, 3 months and 9 days with Colorado DOW - DWM for 14 years, AWM (Supervisor) for 11, and regional biologist for the last 5....enjoyed the field but the office is safer and I get to see the family more.  Maybe when I retire I'll get to do a little hunting.

I've been with Kansas City PD for 27 years and out of those I've had a canine for a partner for 23 years. It's been four partners, Rico,Simon, Laica and now with Taz. Wish it could have been one and the same. Looking to retire in a year or two. I've been into traditional since about 1990.

I spent 14 years in law enforcement before a bad knee forced me to find a new career: teaching high school and middle school. LEO was good preparation for the classroom, LOL! My dad is also a retired police officer.

Just retired about a year and a half ago. Still working though, we can get away with that in S.C. Makes for two checks, LOL. I have worked as a Forensic Investigator for about the last eight years.
