24 years on a PD in NE MO. Was in charge of the Patrol Div. for several years and did Det work for several years. Last 5 1/2 as a band fraud Investigator. Good thing there's more money coming in the front door than going out the back door!  :)  Commissioned thru St Louis City as a Corporate Security Advisor. Carrying under HR 218 is SWEET since I live in IL.

Congrats Jerod on being the High Shirive! You're to damn young to be a Sheriff!

Sad news today fellas. Today a 32 year old NJ State Trooper, married with two children, took his own life in his unmarked unit at 7:30 AM. We all know the stresses the job brings. I pray for him and his family.

5 year officer here, love the job. Carry stickers for kids, let them see what their parents tell them isn't always true. Be safe, remember your training. I have been to too many funerals of friends in my short career.
