Lots of folks on here go the extra mile for others. Well, I was the recepient of this today. I had bid on and won a dozen arrows during the St.Jude's Auction. The arrows arrive today. Upon opening it and looking at these fine 80#-85# ACME shafts there was a different colored shaft in the middle of the bundle...? I pull it out and darned if it was a "bakers dozen"...the 13th shaft is a footed shaft that has been stained. The footing is in the tip AND the nock end. Pretty darn cool.
These shafts are from Port Orford cedar trees that most likely grew here in Oregon only a 1/2 days drive from where I live. They were sold by a man that lives here in Oregon...now they are back home in Oregon. They are well traveled!
Thanks Mark.
Thanks for you generosity and for all you have done in serving our country, keeping this the land of the free and home of the brave.
