I'm considering trying carbons, again  , for my Montana longbow. A couple of years ago I shot the GT 55/75's full length, drawing 30.5" with a 32.5" shaft. I've worked on my form and gotten my draw length down to 28". I'm currently shooting 2018 @ 29.5" total with 125 tips. They fly very well, but at the 3d shoot today, I was painfully reminded the aluminum doesn't wrap around trees very well and stay straight after that. So...I would like some advice, suggestions on some carbons to try. My Montana longbow is 64", 55lb @28", I'm drawing 28". I'd like to stay around a 125 tip, with a 100 grain insert. I'm looking at maybe the Heritage 150's at 29.5" total with a 100 grain up front. Would this be too weak? Or should I go with something a little stiffer? I'd like to have an arrow around 540-560 grains, but I don't want to have to go up to 160 point weight. Or would the Heritage 150's work with the 50 grain adapter and 125? Thanks, Bobby
