Lost Creek Not A Toy
« on: June 19, 2010, 02:07:00 PM »
It always amazes me at the talent we have today in bowyers.  I just got through test shooting the N.A.T. from Lost Creek and what a great looking - great shooting and quiet short bow with outstanding finish work.

I will be posting more with pics later.

Its 56"s & 50@28 and is shooting a 580 grain arrow with authority.

I'm really looking forward to your review, Terry!
My LC is a 60 incher and have been looking at the NAT since they came out. Eager to hear your opinion of the short version of Chad's great longbows.

I recently bought a 58", 52# @ 28" off the classifieds here.  My son and I have been fighting over it ever since!

Mine is very light weight in the hand, supremely quiet and smokes my 525 grain arrows.

I may need to order another one of these!

Looking forward to your review Terry.

can't go wrong with an LC.  I had a 58 all osage that could be the sweetest shooting 45# I have ever shot.  Wish I had it back.

Can't wait to hear what you have to say. Everyone that has read the threads on LC bows are sick of reading my posts but I just think they are the best bow out there for the money. My 54" NAT is awesome and can not say it enough. Points & shoots right where you want and really smokes an arrow.

They're sick of hearing mine as well, I'm sure, Crotchhorn. Let's hear what Terry thinks.

Have not shot the N.A.T. but my 58" lost Creek is blazing fast (don't know the speed , but it has to be up there with the top 3 or 4 made)no hand shock, and is very quiet. Chad is a great guy to deal with. Will do whatever it takes to make you happy. He takes a lot of pride in his work.

Hey Chad,
I gotta respect a guy who goes out on a limb to start a business doing what he loves. You are supporting your family by handcrafting a beautiful piece of equipment for guys like me to fill my freezer. Money well spent in my opinion.

I picked up a used 56" lefty from,... where else, the classifieds on Tradgang. Shoots great & points well due to the outstanding grip. Even thought about picking up a righty they are that good.

all the best! - Q.

I used a teak riser w/a bamboo core and tamo-ash limbs, overlays and tips to match. I, unfortunately, forgot to get pics of this specific bow. Terry, could you please take some good pics so I can copy them? Also, have you had a chance to shoot it through a chrony??? It's not the fasted bow I've built, but I am curious on what it has for FPS.    :archer2:
