Wild Fire Artistry...Best Friends
« on: June 22, 2010, 12:56:00 AM »
Finished this one a couple weeks ago, but couldn't post pics because it was a surprise for Marty.  It was ordered by that little guy on the left (Biggie).

Biggie thought Marty might just kiss him when he gave it to him.  I suggested he make sure they weren't in public, LOL!

I have done a lot of art, and also crafts, in my lifetime, Chip - and that is real artistry, aided by fine craftsmanship. After seeing the sequence and finished  art, i feel like i know Biggie and Marty better than if I'd already met them.

Art is a tough career and business but if you could find enough well-heeled customers and perhaps an agent and/or gallery to help you - you would not have to worry about that recent job loss or the yougster's pending operation(s). May God bless you, your talents, and your efforts, my friend. I can only wish that i could help you in some way - but i hope an erstwhile prayer or two will help you on your way, whatever path it may take.

AND it certainly is Traditional Archery oriented  - both in looks and content -         IM(humble)O

Good words there, Bernie...can't improve on them and Chip already knows the esteem I hold for his talent...

Having said that... doesn't anyone else realize what a freakin HUGE deer that must be to make Biggie look that small!

Sorry, Biggie..debil made me doit!  :)   :dunno:

Wow you took the 15 lbs off Wayne as requested and the deer still looks huge. I read the story and have heard the tale a couple of times around the camp fire.

That is definitely the Marty smile.

As always exceptional work Chip.

I received that upon my arrival home from BearQuest- it has just become one of my most prized possesions. If you ever spend any time around Biggie and I - you would think that sometimes we were enemies, that't the beauty of best friends- we don't hold back. I love the fat bastard.

Marty,
Glad you like it!  Funny, Biggie offered more to make him skinnier, but didn't mention you.  Guess that's okay cuz you still look skinnie next to him in the pic, LOL!

For anyone interested here is the original pic and final piece together:
