4th of July arrow noise
« on: June 29, 2010, 09:59:00 PM »
Just recently some of my arrows started sounding like bottle rockets! The tips are tight. Anybody have any idea what is going on? I have no clue  :dunno:

Thanks, I'll check. Probably from digging them out of the ground from all my misses.

What feathers are you using? I know my high back sheilds are louder than everything else I have.

Its my high back sheilds but they just started doing it, and it is on arrows with different feathers too. Never have had this happen before. So I will look them over in good light today to see if anything is loose.

What a deal.  You don't even need to drive to Indiana to stock up!

If it's the whole bunch of arrows it's most likely a change in your form or a change in your tuning.
Could be the feathers are slowly getting "frayed edges" from wear.
It would be against the odds for all your arrows to change at the same time unless it's just feather wear.
Just a shot in the dark.

Good luck buddy.
