Thanks, I'd like to do better yet and be even more consistent but I do feel I'm tightening up again.

The goose feathers should be softer so may not last quite as well - but almost seems like they would be more forgiving???

Going to be a little noisier bernie, but, they will not lay down in wet weather.  Always make up a couple, shoot them to make sure they hit the same as your others, and keep a couple in your quiver for those rainy days when others like to stay in....  :D

Hmmm, maybe not a bad idea. I don't go out in the rain much anymore, if I can help it, though.

There is nothing wrong at all with goose feathers.  Like I said, I find them a little noisier Bernine.  I love the way they shoot and look.  I have not tried them in a parabolic cut to see if that cuts down on noise, but going to.  I just need to find a good supplier of goose feathers.

Should be a ton of feathers lying around on golf courses and dryponds in a neighborhood near you. Moulting is probably done, but the feathers should still be around.

I keep meaning to check them out around here (a couple golf courses real close to my house) but keep forgetting. That great memory working overtime again -    "[dntthnk]"

I just got a bag of ground goose primaries - Great job!  Saved me a heck of a lot of time and wear and tear on my lungs (grinding that stuff drives me nuts!)

I got my #1 primaries from stringstretcher Friday and I must say they are very well done. I'll be a return customer for sure.

Hi all,
I just recieved some 4" right wing primaries from Charlie (Stringstretcher).  These look to be by far the nicesest feathers I have purchased anywhere.  I am very pleased with the feathers and he ships them out quick.  Give him a try, I think you will be happy.  I am!

I just got some of the left wing secondaries from Charles, and they are well worth the money.  He takes pride in his work, and it shows.
