Ace hex heads
« on: July 01, 2010, 06:02:00 PM »
I shoot 160 g Stos broadheads and wanted to pick up some small game heads to full around with and stump shoot.  I like the Ace Hex heads but notice they only come in 150g or 175G (glue ons).  Would you guys recommend I go with the lighter or heavier ones?  Thank you for your advise.

I am not sure you would notice the difference in weight either way.  A difference of 10-15 grains is not much at all.

If you want, add 10 grains to the lighter one by stuffing some lead shot inside the ferrule area.

Cane, you must have been reading a misprint.  The Hex Blunts come in several weights, incl 145, 160 and 175 grains.  I use the 160's a lot and keep them in stock.

I have 160's and I love these heads!

I pretty much only know 2 of the well known suppliers and they don;t show any 160's.  "Fletcher", I went to your website (I get the name now-COOL!) but didn;t see any place to order the heads.  160's would make this a whole loe easier.  No one carries much trad stuff here.

Thanks guys I found some at Lost Nation.  This will be much easier.  I thought what the Kustom River shops sold were everything made.

When in doubt, you can always buy them directly from Ace off their web site.
