I am in Mesa, just down the road from the Usery Mountain Regional Park archery range
Usery Mountain Regional Park Archery Range
. I am trying to be a trad archer, but finding an inexpensive bow to fit my long draw length of 31.5" is proving to be a difficult task. I think it would be fun to get some trad archers together some Saturday for a fun shoot.

I live in Gilbert. Would be nice to put a group together that meets fairly often to shoot.

I live in Tucson. There are quite a few of us down south. Many of us are at the Sunrise shoot this weekend. The rest will be at the Bowhunter Happening later this month. The Buck Lewis shoot in the Santa Rita Mountains has the most trad shooters in the state. Something to consider is having a Willow Springs Trad bunny hunt in Febuary after the deer and pig seasons close.

Just got my first longbow about 2 weeks ago. Been shooting a compound for about 20 years and this is the most fun I have had shooting in years.
I'm about 150 miles SE of Phoenix. I'll be at the bowhunter happening next month. We are trying to put together a trad only Javelina hunt in January with some other buddies from around here.

I just had a new baby, so when we have a few months under our belt, I will definately like to get out and do some shooting at Usery Mountain, just wish it was a little closer (I am in North Phoenix). I occasionally go to Ben Avery and am pretty pleased with what they have there.

Eric, Glad to see you are recovering well. Give me a call if you and Lee go shoot this Saturday. I think Lee only has my work cell number and I do not check it on the weekends. He left me a message a few weeks ago on a Friday night and didn't check i

I've competed in 2 of 3 shoots so far. Let me re-phrase, I was at 2 of 3 shoots so far.
I'm just going for the camping, drinking, and fun courses this time. I had to turn my 3D bow into my hunting setup to pay for all of this trad stuff I needed.
I'll probably just shoot my longbow all weekend and drink beer by the fire.
We are leaving on Thursday morning after graveyards.

I live in Flagstaff. Yeah, quite a piece from Phoenix. But any trad archers in the Flagstaff area want to shoot, please pm or email me.
