Find out what feels right in your hand before spending any cash. Both are excellent choices and alot more will be listed by folks here, but you need a grip that works for you. Can you make any shoots or have any members near you that will let you shoot their bows?

The RER bows are awesome both in 3 peice and one peice. The Arroyo is a bit quicker and comes in a real shorty 54"s. They are both quick quiet and stable in the hand. Bob Lees are nice bows but if ya want better performance and a real beauty go with the RER. Shawn

I'm not really sure, but I know I like the pistol style grips that are formed to your hand. I was thinking a medium wrist grip.

Then you can get either of your choices done the way you prefer. Comes down to you, neither bow would be a bad choice, RER looks to give more wood choices and wait time is similar with both bowyers last I knew. So look them both over hard and see which tickles your fancy the most.

what would be the approximate wait time? And does anyone know if the bob lee longbow limbs will fit on the recurve riser, in case I wanted to get longbow limbs later?

Your next best step would be to get a hold of both. Either may have exactly what you want in stock. The Elite models will take either limbs, can never remember if the Hunters will (Lee's).

also, would i be able to get away with the 58" RER instead of a 60" for my 28" draw? or mabye even the 56"?? But I don't want to sacrifice shooting comfort for a bow that's a couple inches shorter.

My vote goes to the RER T/D. I also have the 1 pc Arroyo. give RER a call and see what is in stock. It might surprise you what you could get. These bows are real performers for the price tag. I've had big name bows that didn't stack up to them.

I agree with LeRoy on the RER's, have had several and loved their performance and looks. Kevin may have a lefty in stock-ask about a trial bow. Great people to work with.

Chek-mate Hunter 2
Rose Oak Wild Cat
RER are great as are many others. If you like what's in stock or can handle the wait

I'm also considering an RER, Rose Oak, and Bob Lee-I'll probably go with the RER and maybe pick up a Bob Lee used-talked to them today and the wait is 5 weeks. Another consideration would be a Marriah Thermal at $595 with your choice of woods, but the wait is about a year.

I have a Bob Lee Signature with 43# and 50# limbs. I have been extremely pleased with it. They're first rate people to work with. My delivery time was about 6 weeks. You might look on his site....he has quite a few bows in stock and there would be no wait.
