Any of you MojoStik owners with a 29"+ draw shoot the 56" model?

I don't quite qualify. My draw length is close to 29" but not over.I have 2 of the 56" Mojos and love them.I can't imagine another inch of draw length causing any problem.

I draw mine to 30"s with no problems. Great shooting bow. The thing flat smokes a arrow.

I'm trying to decide between the 56" and the 60".

I shoot a 60" and pull it 29 1/2" and have no problems, very smooth all the back. I did shoot a 56" a few times and had no real issues. The 60" just feels alot smoother and shoots better for me but then again I lean towards longer bows in the first place

I had a 56 and got rid of it when my form changes caused me to go from 28 to 29+.  It was just to tight on my fingers.   The bow could do a long draw.  For me 58 is better.

I have the prototype 56" Mojostik and my draw is 29". The refinements JD has made since then make it a little better for longer draws. I had 60" Mojos too and did'nt see a lot of difference in them, other than the shorter bow is slightly less forgiving of form mistakes. The 56" blisters an arrow. I was shooting it yesterday and forgot how fast the darn thing was. Not too bad on hand shock either for being a light little short bow. The only reason I dont shoot it all the time is I have gone to shooting a different style of recurve. So, dont let the shorter length scare you off of it. Are you buying a new one from JD or a used one? If you are buying a new one, just have JD hit your intended weight at your drawlength and you will love it.

Jashu,
Thanks for the info.  I just ordered one from JD, but it'll be several weeks before he can get started on it so I'm still undecided on the length and woods.  He kinda steered me towards either the 56" or the 60", and steered me away from the 58" - can't remember why now.

In my personal opinion, JD's 62" is his best recurve, by far. His 56" is 2nd best.

His 62" is among the best recurves made, anywhere, any price. Again, in my opinion.

If it was me, I'd get a 62" and don't look back.

Yes I got 62" recurve bow and it's the best. I'm still waiting on my bows that I order from him. Should get them soon.

i should add too...i have the 52" prototype boomslang. same limb design as the 56" on a scaled down riser.  absolutely no issues drawing this little bad boy to 28" so rest assured the 56" will have no problems. post pics when you get it!

I shot the 52" in his basement and I was very impressed. I also had no issue's with it either. A great short bow.

I have another bow coming from JD and was going to get a 52", but then changed it to a lower weight 62". Me and JD's 62" just get along too well.
