Anyone in Southern Cal near me?
« on: July 03, 2010, 11:06:00 PM »
I'm gonna get stationed in 29 palms here in a couple weeks and just wondered if there were any fellow tradgangers out near there. Maybe we could go shoot or hunt sometime. It sucks not having anyone to enjoy the outdoors with right now.

Thanks, Bakes   :archer:

Blakes, I live in Morro Bay on the central coast of California. You’re welcome to come visit. Maybe we can work it around my job and can go fishing or do a little ground squirrel shooting.

It's a bit of a poke for you (6hrs or so)so you are welcome to bunk here....

By the way thank you for your service and happy 4th of JULY !!! ....

Thanks Coaster, it will be a while before I can take that kind of trip. But it sounds good and I'll keep you in mind.
Happy fourth to you too

Bakes, we're bidding some work at 29 Palms, if we are successful I might get up there. I'll look you up!

I live in Chino - around 100 or so miles from 29 Palms but I shoot in Pasadena where there are a lot of Traditional and Primitive archers. 29 Palms is far  :D

Thanks guys, it's gonna be a while before I get there and get settled in, but once I get some free time I'll remember you guys.
At least it's nice to know that I'm not completely alone here.

Based on the attendance at local trad only 3D shoots I think there is a pretty good traditional community in southern California. Only trouble is 29 Palms isn't very close to the population centers where most of us live.
