Weeping Cherry for a bow???

Can you use the trunk of a Weeping Cherry to make a bow? The trunk is 4" in diameter and 62" long. I was hoping I might be able to use it to make a couple of kids bows. Do you guys think it will work?
Thanks, Chris

It is a true cherry and should be fine for bows. Make it wide and long to be safe. Pat

It would be a crying shame not to try.

Pintail,
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it is:
"Prunus subhirtella 'Pendula'"

Are the weeping branches grafted to the straight trunk? Pat

Yes, the trunk is straight as an arrow. Because I am afraid I might screw it up, would this be good enough to list in the St. Jude auction?
