So Hunt-it i guess the BMW plant in Birmingham, Al doesn't produce a german engineeered car? 440 stainless is i believe 440 stainless in any country.
Buff...how many 1 7/8" you want? any Market for them if they were available?.....i have 30 originals. May give Ed one to explore the possibilities.

Are the Silver Flames and German Kinetics two different manufacturers?

Jason,
German kinetics was the company that manufactured the silver flame broadheads.
Now they have sold the bh company to alaska bowhunting supply(ABS).

Joe,
A BMTROUBLEU is what it is wherever it is made. However, if they make them in China for 1/4 the price by paying cheap labour/parts I'd expect the end cost to user to drop, not go up. My point being if Marcus could make them in Germany to xtreme high standards, the low standards and labour costs involved with Chinese production should reduce cost, not increase it. In this case the end user should not be paying for the purchase costs of buying the German Kenetics Corporation.

Well you make 3 times the profit when you get them made for less in China. Why would you lower the price when you got guys that buy 5 dozen of them and don't care what they cost?

"In this case the end user should not be paying for the purchase costs of buying the German Kenetics Corporation"
Really. I am not aware of any entity that is not going to charge enough to recoup their investment cost in addition to charging enough for a modest profit over manufacturing and marketing costs...other than perhaps our well run federal government.

This is not a slam at ABS but when I look at their website I get the feeling they are selling high end stuff to guys that have a lot more money to spend than I do. Most every one of their products are way too pricey for me to even consider buying from them when there are as good or better quality supplies readily available which are much more affordable.
