That is cool ! I wonder if I could find it on a cd, I just gave away my record player a few months ago. I see there is 2 of the records on the big auction site.

I have one too. I was told once that they are fairly common as Bear gave them out for promotions at one time. I bought mine back then. Always thought it would be worth something.

I believe you can have records recorded onto CD's. They still have the pops and noises from the LP but you're able to play them. My sister and I did this for my father one year with all his oldies.

I brought mine at bowshop in the old Fred Bear Museum in Grayling. I still have it packed away safe so it won't get broken.

If you can't find a "normal" turntable, the easiest thing to do would be to purchase a new, USB turntable that plugs into your computer.
You can set it up so that the Windows recorder will record the output straight to your computer. From there, burn to CD and your gold!

There was a place in Grand Rapids that I notice is no longer there, but they did digital copies. They would then edit the digital copy to remove scratches, pops and whatever; then copy onto CD. Cost was around $20, though, so I certainly didn't want to do very many of my old records. For this one, it might be worth it and I'm sure there are similar companies all over the place these days.

I know a guy that works at a Radio Station and he has transferred old vinyl recordings onto cd's that are great. His gizwidget can also remove the white noise, clicks and pops from the cd recordings. Check with a local radio station. They might do it for ya.
Best of luck and neat find, too.
