New-to-me Mohawk 66" 47@28
« on: July 06, 2010, 09:44:00 PM »
I hadn't had a chance to shoot today due to rain, Dr. visit in Columbia and a trip to Walmart.

I just couldn't stand it any longer so I grabbed a bow and headed outside. The Mohawk got the nod this time out.

The bow impressed  me with its 1st 4 shots at about 30-35 yds. They're are 3 so close that it's hard to tell there are 3 in there together.

I think this one is a keeper!!

Thanks to ScottM for allowing me to own such a fine looking and great shooting bow.

God bless,Mudd

Adam, I just shoot them as they come out of my quiver.
I think those 4 are a least close to the same length.

There's a least one self nock in the group, one or two 4 fletch mixed in with 3 fletch

I can't say which model it is but I can tell you what it's not, it's not the Mohawk Classic.

I have two Mohawks, this one and the "Classic", both are shooters as well as lookers. You can't get any accent stripes in the risers of the "Classics", just one piece of wood in it.

I will say that Vince knows how to pick a piece of wood for the "classics' risers that will make most folks drool and my guess is that I doubt you'll ever miss having the option of accent stripes.

Mudd- Nice grouping. Is the foam egg Pink for visibility or just your personal preference?
Nice looking bow by the way.

Butch L,
I wouldn't say anything bad about Mudd but, we were at our state archery festival and they had camo kerchief with UBM (United Bowhunters of Missouri)written on them. I bought the brown camo & Mudd bought the pink camo. I said are those for Maryjane (his daughter)? Mudd says "she can buy her own. These are for me"! There were other things said but, I shouldn't go into details.
God Bless

Butch Speer- I wouldn't disparage Mudd for any reason, I mean maybe he's color blind. Why I've even heard that Pink is the new white, given that was on Queer Eye For the Straight Guy. By the way, nice name, sounds familiar.

Butch L,
I wouldn't disparage Mudd for nothing in the world but,I'm just telling what happened. No embellishment at all. I didn't even mention him saying he lost the first one. All I ask is if a little girl took it from him.  Oops. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that. Mudd's my pal. I take up for him anytime I can.   :bigsmyl:
