Tall Tines at Denton...with a surprise!
« on: July 07, 2010, 11:36:00 AM »
Just talked to Brian Wessel, he is having me add a blurb on the site about the Tall Tines booth being at Denton Hill. Now that's exciting but not as exciting as him having the first 3 piece Tall Tines long bow with him. Oh man time to find something new for Mama.

Well let's see, you have a new fridge right?  How's the stove holding up?  Flooring?  ;)

Matt, I just had all the trim in the house painted and I put in a new patio with landscaping out back. You would think I would have some credit built up.

The landscaping should put it over the top as long as you're the one weeding and watering it.  I think you will be ok.  Just do it before Sept. deer season starts!

TJ,

Hurry up and get the pictures of his 3 pc longbow on the web site....wait....I probably don't need to see it...I'll be broke again.

I'm anxious to see it as well as the 1 pc recurve...any word on when we might get a peek at that one?

Believe me Billy, I've been prodding him. He a tough nut to crack though. I think the Denton Hill attendees will see it before I do, but you never know. I'll post them up and send them to you if I get them prior.

No Todd, the bow is being unveiled at Denton. If you would pick me up on your way we can check it out together.

Sounds good, but if you are on the way I don't think I can sneak away from my landscape project and get back unnoticed on Saturday. 10 ton of rock down and one to go and then the plants.  Send some pic's if you make it.

I didn't think his longbow was coming out this soon. I wonder if Steve O. knew about this? He never told me about it, he probably already has one on order.

I most certainly  DID tell you about it...you must have "filed" that information in one of those retirement crevices in your brain   :biglaugh:

I've got a one piece on order and am patiently waiting; I didn't want to hog all the #1 serial numbers!

I don't think Steve can shoot a longbow very well... its probably because he never puts down one of his TT recurves long enough to try. My guess is, he will be in Iowa in a few hours checking out a few other Wessel creations.
