51 last month and I still feel like a kid when I take the bow out!
I don't scout as much, and I hardly ever use the climber anymore. I can easily decide to go back to bed if it's a little too cold or wet for a morning hunt. I'll have a hang on or two in place for most evenings and ground hunt the rest. I shoot almost every day and hunt groundhogs with a passion all summer long. And I discovered hog hunting at Ray's, quite the affordable excursion and his "ridges" are about 5 feet high!
Bifocals, arthritis, bad knee, should lose some weight, but generally not too bad.
My childhood friend died in his sleep yesterday at age 52 from an apparent heart attack. You gotta live every day like it's your last! Hug your kids and grandkids, kiss your wife, and laugh often with your friends. You never know.
