After lots of feedback on every type of question I could ask I decided on my new bow. While I was back at home for a weekend in TX I went out to Horne's archery shop and my wife and I spent some time with Mark and Sandy. I went with the new Flint Quest (if you haven't looked at their website lately you should check it out). I went with a cocobolo riser with black glass and bacote veneers. It's not technically the flint quest bow because it's not the wood combo that comes on that bow but it's the same riser and long bow limbs. It will have a medium grip like the brush bow. It's 60", 50# @ 28. I couldn't be more excited and will share update pics as they come in. Thanks again for all the feedback and suggestions to those of you who helped along the way.
