You are so right about how quickly things can happen in life that completely alter our worlds. I hate it that this has happened in your family. God bless your dad, your sister, you and the rest of your family. I pray for healing and a rapid recovery.

Paul I'm so sorry about you news. I'm not sure how I missed this for this length of time and I hope there has been improvement since the last post. If you just need to talk or anything else I might be able to do just let me know.

Thanks for all the prayers and words of encouragement. Its great to have a family here on Tradgang.

It was touch and go for the first couple of weeks. My Dad was in intensive care for 2 wks. Once he started to improve it was non-stop. With in 2 days out of ICU he started walking on his own and had all the tubes removed. By the 3rd day he was eating real food. He was discharged from the hospital on the 4th day. Now he is in a Rehab center where he is improving as every day goes by. I'm glad I was there with him to see all of this happen.

Also, thanks for all of the PM's and emails.

I will show my Dad this thread when I see him this coming week.
