I would say Mr. Howard Hill, but in that era there was alot of great archers as well, the wilhelm brothers, andy vale, capt.  can't remember his name, mr wensel does.  Hugh Rich was a good shot in his own right.  But I would still have to go with the greatest, Mr. Hill, few are and still are confident and can grab a bow and shoot whatever.

Hugh Rich was a big fan of the Wilhelm brothers, Ken and Walt. He said they were the best shots he had ever seen....and he saw them all. He sent me this autographed photo of Walt in 1983.

That is a neat picture Ron; and as well the inscription is worth squinting for.

 I do have to wonder (as a horseman) about his horse- Walt must have disliked being bucked off as much as I do...   :archer:
