reading mail

Hello I am new here I was wondering how you read your mail if someone sends something to you, cant find it sorry

If someone sends you a private message when you log on to trad gang it will be blinking at you right above where it says "hello babs" [log out].  Click on that and it will take you to that message.  You can also click on "my profile" and it will take you to incoming & outgoing pms that you can click on.  i have my pms set up so i also get an email alert when i get a private message. Hope this helps.

Hello Babs, Welcome to the Gang!  Click on "MY PROFILE" just above and it will take you to the PM page.  Normally, when someone sends you a PM, there will be a message under your login name.  If you click on the message it will take you to it.

I'll send a PM now.

I just noticed that you don't have a "PM" icon.  :confused:

The top line of your post doesn't have the PM icon, so you will need to go into your "MY PROFILE" and then edit preferences.  There will be a box that needs to be checked to enable private messages.

Whip is absolutely right.  You can also check to be notified by email when you have a private message under the edit preferences when you go to "my profile".  My bad...welcome to tradgang!

You can talk all you want about service but here's a great example!

Babs had a problem, let it be known she had a problem, then the folks that help make this site what it is stepped up(not just moderators) and just like that Babs has all the correct information she needs to fix the trouble.

Man! I love this place!! Welcome to the family Babs! I can't wait to read what you bring to the campfire. I think we all have something to offer.

I try to make sure I'm not the good "bad example"!...lol
