Another Singapore shipping question.
« on: July 10, 2010, 07:55:00 PM »
This will be my first overseas transaction for anything, what kind of funds should I ask for? For example even if there is such a thing as a moneyorder or cashiers check, how would I possible know how long it would take to clear? Thanks Again for the help. DK.

David,
I just sent a bow overseas (France) - 2nd time - and was paid via essentially a cashier's check thru Citibank. Hope this helps.

Thanks T.A.C., to think I worry about a 500 dollar bow, I have bought a Victory Mcycle through ****, and just purchased a Polaris RZR, that I have not seen yet and have to travel 1400 miles to get, also through ****, I guess I should be more worried about those...Ha!  :)

Wow...that's cool, I didn't put the **** in place of the site I mentioned, I guess it must be automatic, sorry if I did something wrong, I'm fairly new to the site, and have never posted on any sites before like I do on Tradgang, other than selling things, so I might post things onece in awhile that I shouldn't, if so...agin sorry, its just that everyone on tradgang is so great, posting is kind of contagous with such a bunch of great people! Thanks again...DK.

Always ask for USD (if you are in the US) then there is no fee for you to convert. International PayPal works well; or you may do a bank transfer. Shipping may be a headache, make sure you can ship a bow to Singapore (if you sold a bow). FedEx may be your best option, and if it is a one piece bow it will cost well over 200.00.
