Ben looks like the dude that has been hitting my feeders in the back yard. All we have in central pa is bears and turkeys.

Very cool experience.  I wish I went there more often than I do.  Certainly one of my favorite places in PA.

VTer - Ohiopyle is a state park along the Youghiogheny River.  Very popular place for whitewater rafting and kyaking.

Cool pics of the bear!  I'll bet it sure added something to the rafting experience.

The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

That is a nice bear. I have seen a couple in the 450-500 lb range in the past week. Hope I get the chance to sit for one this year.

I live about 25 minutes from Ohiopyle, and work about 5 minutes away! Ohiopyle has more than a few BIG bears.  Bring your hiking boots though, Ohiopyle has some rugged land.  Pa is really one of the best places to shoot a really heavy bear.
