Interesting Day

I'll be recuperating next week so I wanted to check on my hunting cabin and food plot today. The turnips are growing good, and my apple trees are coming along. I checked a couple spots in the woods for stands and saw hens and chicks, does and fawns. On the way home a nice big bobcat crossed the road in front of me. Then, just as I'm pulling up to the driveway I see a big doe feeding in our side yard. How cool is that! Of course, I didn't have my camera with me....

Owlbait, I've been wondering about your handle. I'm only fun'n here but I'm' a retired biologist so please forgive my curiosity. I know what Owl's eat. If you are "owl bait" which item on an Owl's menu are you? In other words owlbait could be aka; rabbit, mouse, turkey (for Great Horned Owls), wayward Kitties. Of course in the interest of fair play one might wander what bows I'm "wild" about? It's a very long list!
Thanks

Was wondering the same about Mikes handle.I assumed skunk, as Great Horned are known to prey on them.

Well, I have a biology degree with an Elementary Education minor. I've been attacked by several owls while hunting,(Michigan and Colorado) I've had a Snowy and Eastern Screech owl land in my trees during the winter, and the computer mouse has caused me much grieve due to my limited computer skills, hence...owlbait. I also have a full mount Great Horned Owl in my classroom. Izzy that guess would be true at our hunting camp!
