St Judes Canes headed North
« on: July 18, 2010, 10:49:00 PM »
Drewsbow won the custom built canes I had in the St Judes Auction.

After some pm's and me being out of town for 2 weeks, we worked out all the details to complete the arrows.

The completed arrows are 30" long and have 4 4" shield cut feathers, alternating goose and wild turkey feathers. The point end is loaded with 90 grains of copper wire and on 6 of the shafts a 160 grain VPA Terminator and on the other 5, Red Feather Talons for a Total point weight of 250 grains. The completed arrow weight is around 700 grains.

Here are some Pic's.

I see things worked out for you ok?  Did you have enough to do what you needed?  All the other feathers are in the works now, just been way to hot to get a lot done each day, but they are being done.
