My new Doug Fir arrows from Tree Killer
« on: July 19, 2010, 11:49:00 AM »
Ron did a outstanding job on these arrows. He even dyed the real turkey feathers so I could have the darker blue colors that I wanted   :bigsmyl:

Thanks again Ron and I hope to post some hero picks soon with them but they will be red, white and blue.  :archer2:

Way cool!

I'm going to give woodies another chance my own self sooner or later. Hopefully sooner...

Good luck with those my friend.

Those are really nice Tracy.
I've got a single arrow of Rons on my wall. I think it was once pretty like those but he used it on a 5 point bull.
Ron or his family may want it back someday but for now it hangs in my shop with several others from my trad gang buds.

Got to love that doug fir.  Good weight and much more durable than cedar.  Those arrows are almost too purty to shoot...almost.

Thanks Tracy and everybody for the kind words!

Great photos Tracy, I can't wait to see a monster whitetail buck that you let the air out of with one of those doug fir arrows!

Robin...that arrow is what I killed the bull early on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001

It wasn't as fancy as these arrows above, heck, none of own hunting arrows are fancy?
